Reward now offered in case of family missing since '74

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the safe return of Freda Denman and Sheri and Michael Johnson, who have been missing from their Independence home since March 24, 1975.

Freda Denman is the mother of Sheri and Michael. Johnson is Freda's husband (aka Henry Harbison). At the time of their disappearance, Freda was 27, Sheri was 4, Michael was 10 months and Henry was 37.

The family was last seen Nov. 10, 1974, at their residence at 144 E. Kansas Ave. Harbison was a fugitive from justice at the time. It was initially believed that he moved the family while fleeing from law enforcement. No one in the family has been seen since.

The Carole Sund/Carrington Memorial Reward Foundation is offering the reward and working with the Independence Police Department.

The department is also working with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and The Doe Network.

Joe, I hope you don't mind me posting this link to a blog on this case. There are two members of Freda's family that post to it, and though it has been since 1-17-2006 since the last post, it has lots of info on this case.
