Homicide Investigation on W. Sheley Road
Last night (02-11-2019) at about 10:58 PM, police officers responded to an aggravated assault call at a residence in the 1600 block of W. Sheley Road. Upon their arrival, they located a deceased subject inside the residence who had died from an apparent gunshot wound. The deceased person was identified as Shaunte P. McIntosh, a 28 year old black female from Independence, MO.
A subject was taken into police custody at the scene. This case is still under investigation.
