UPDATE: Independence Police say the barricaded subject has been taken into custody without incident and all officers will be clearing the scene shortly. It’s unknown what the subject was wanted for.

Independence Police and numerous other law enforcement agencies are on scene of a barricaded subject in the 4200 block of S Noland road in regards to a wanted subject. The incident started around 3:00 p.m. today.
