Independence Missouri Police are looking for a person of interest in regards to a shooting that occurred May 14, 2021 in the 500 block of Evanston that left one victim injured. LaShawn R. Rowlandis a 39 year old black male, 5’11”, 164 lbs.
On 5/17/21, MO Division of Probation & Parole issued a felony, no bond warrant for Rowland for absconding. He has known ties to Independence, Kansas City, Gladstone, Odessa, Lexington, Springfield, and Sedalia, Missouri. Police say Rowland should be considered armed and dangerous.
