Detectives from the Independence Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit released that they have confirmed the identity of the deceased subject recovered yesterday in the 4000 block of S. Buckner Tarsney Road in Unincorporated Grain Valley, MO. The victim was identified as 32 year old Kensie Renee Aubry, who was reported missing from Independence, MO in October of 2020. This is an active homicide investigation and authorities will release additional details at a later time.
